What are the controls in First Person Boxing?
The official Roblox description identifies punching, slipping, countering and multiple guards as key mechanics, and lists PC, Mobile and Console support. However, it does not publish a full keybind chart. This guide explains what to look for, and separates generic Roblox inputs from unverified game-specific controls.
| Action | PC | Mobile | Console | Verification |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Move | Commonly WASD | On-screen movement thumbstick | Controller movement stick | Standard Roblox convention; verify in game |
| Camera / look | Commonly mouse | Swipe or touch look area | Controller look stick | Standard Roblox convention; verify in game |
| Punch | Check the on-screen prompt | Find the in-game attack control | Check controller hint | Exact game-specific input unverified |
| Guard / block | Check the displayed key | Find the guard control | Check controller hint | Exact game-specific input unverified |
| Slip | Check the displayed key and direction | Find the dodge/slip control | Check controller hint | Exact game-specific input unverified |
| Change guard | Check game help or settings | Check touchscreen controls | Check controller hint | Controls and options unverified |
| Counter | Depends on your available attack actions | Use attack after an opening | Use attack after an opening | No separate counter button established |
These descriptions are not an exact key map. Do not copy a keybind from a different Roblox boxing game: the same action can use a different input.
How do you check your exact PC bindings?
Start the game and look for its Controls, Settings or on-screen help, if one is currently available. Read the action labels before sparring. Test one action at a time in a low-pressure setting, ideally using the AI practice that the developer specifically advertises.
- Confirm which input moves the fighter and which rotates the camera.
- Locate basic attacks and recognize the corresponding animation.
- Find the head/body guard or guard-switch actions if your interface provides them.
- Locate the slip or defensive dodge action and note whether direction changes its behavior.
- Experiment with the transition from defense to attack.
The game menu and exact shortcuts could change with updates. We will replace the unverified entries above with tested keys only after capturing the current control screen.
How does the camera affect your punches?
With a true first-person view, keeping the opposing boxer in sight is part of your positioning. Avoid turning so abruptly that you lose sight of the opponent after throwing an attack. Practice moving a short distance, recentring the camera, and only then exchanging punches.
This is a practice method, not an undocumented aiming assist or hidden game setting. Use the Beginner Guide for a more complete sequence of drills.
What changes when playing on mobile?
Mobile players use touchscreen controls supplied through Roblox and the experience’s own interface. The exact number and location of boxing buttons is not confirmed in our source material. Start by learning where you can reach the defensive action without covering the opponent on your screen.
If a phone view feels too crowded, experiment with camera placement and the touch layout options actually exposed by the current client. We are not claiming that a movable button editor or sensitivity slider is necessarily available in this game.
Are the controls different on console?
Console support is explicitly listed by the developer, but there is no verified game-specific controller diagram available here. Follow controller button prompts displayed by Roblox or the current game UI. Where prompts differ, the in-game display takes priority over this page.
See the Defense & Counter Guide to understand the actions you are mapping, and the Stamina Guide to practice controlled attacks without exhausting yourself.
Why won’t a control work?
First confirm you are inside an active fight rather than a menu or spectator view. Recheck the device selected, the current on-screen help and whether the game state permits the action. The mere failure of a guessed shortcut does not establish a game bug.
